This little mermaid floats through the air 
as if swimming wild and free,
with crystal scales and a shimmery fin,
she looks as she would in the sea.
She wears a belt made of pearls,
as above you she twists and twirls,
in her hair is a twinkle
and I know that her dream is
to watch over you lovingly.
